Brothers, where art thou?

B (1)

Brothers, I have three

Two are older than me

One is younger, by a few years

He loves his wine and a few beers

A culchie now, since he wed

And from Dublin with his wife he fled

To live down in the lovely Laois

Where he dines on steak and quiche

The other two, they went Northside

Across the Liffey with their brides

So very near and yet so far

And I’m not talking about by car

From Ballyer they all came

And in their hearts it will remain

No matter where they may roam

That part of Dublin was their first home

Where they lived with my sisters and me

My big, handsome brothers three   🙂
